Rave Gear, LLC seeks Manufacturing Engineer (Seguin, TX) to develop and optimize precision Aerospace gear manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality. Perform various engineering tasks involving function such as creating shop routing in E2 Shop System, 3D solid modeling, operation sketch development, BOM, assembly while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information. Apply technical knowledge and theories of spur gears/spline, spiral bevel gears, shaping, tooth grinding, broaching, and specialized processes such as heat treatment, nondestructive testing (NDT), plating and shot-peen. Work cross functionally with customer, quality, production and purchasing department regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and additional considerations to facilitate manufacturing without compromising quality and customer satisfaction.  Lead and support initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas such as LEAN, Automation and/or 6Sigma projects. Prepare process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Requires Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and nine (6) credit hours in statistical process control/production planning and inventory control.
